About the Doctor

Dr. Hughes has been delivering the highest quality dental care for over 15 years! He grew up in Woodstock, Illinois and earned his dental degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry before completing a residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Hughes is a member of many leading dental organizations, including:

• Academy of General Dentistry
• Virginia Dental Association
• Piedmont Dental Society
• Christian Dental Association

Away from the office, Dr. Hughes enjoys mission work through Baptist Medical/Dental Missions International, and he is also active in his church as a youth Sunday school teacher. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, traveling, visiting Smith Mountain Lake and spending time with his wife, Mia, and their four children: Kyleigh, Mariah, Tristin and Victor.
